THE RESILIENCE ADVANTAGE™
The Resilience Advantage™ program is designed to help you better manage your most valuable resource, your personal energy. When stress is high, your energy reserves are low. When your energy is low, when you feel weary beyond measure, you obviously are not at your best to teach the students who need you the most, or work at optimal levels in your job. The tools I will teach you are based on decades of research conducted by the Institute of Heartmath. These tools are easy to learn, easy to implement, and extremely effective.
The tools you learn in this training are not only good for you, they will also benefit your students (or staff) and make your classroom, office, or home a more enjoyable place for everyone. These are tools that you can use “on the fly,” in your classrooms, in your car, in your life, or anywhere else you might want to use them. The beauty is that no one else will even know you are doing it, unless you choose to share it.
Most importantly, this training and these tools are not just another program that will be lost in a sea of programs that you are expected to implement with ‘fidelity’. This training is about YOU, for YOU, so that you can be the BEST YOU each and every day.
In an effort to be transparent and to model for my students, I often stop the whole class when I am feeling frustrated. I will announce to them that I am feeling dysregulated, or out of sync, and we take a moment to do Heart-Focused Breathing™, Inner-Ease™, or Quick Coherence® Technique together. These are procedures I teach them throughout the year, and they are quite effective. The shift in the room after a group practice is noticeable and lovely, and it only takes about 60 seconds.
Not a teacher? No problem! The Resilience Advantage™ training and the tools are for anyone, anywhere. If you want to live your best life, to experience more love and compassion, and less stress, then I am happy to work with you.
Some additional benefits of the training include:
increasing personal resilience and energy levels
diminishing the feelings of overwhelm and frustration
improving your ability to think clearly under pressure and discern appropriate solutions
increasing your ability to maintain situational awareness. (It is important to keep track of all of your students and their needs.)
diminishing symptoms of personal and professional stress such as confusion, fatigue and sleep disturbances
increasing your ability to remain regulated, even when faced with a very dysregulated child, co-worker, family member, or friend.
Every individual, school, group, or corporation has unique needs and different budgets. There is really no such thing as a “one size fits all” program or training. I am happy to discuss with you the specific needs of your group or organization and tailor a best fit program. If you prefer one on one coaching click here.
